Description
Does your 7-15 year old child love to sing and/or play an instrument?
If so, your child will love this camp! Students in this camp will learn new information, work on improving musical skills, meet new friends, and have lots of fun! Students will be divided into bands with similar-aged/ability students, and band members will work together to create a program for the final performance. At the end of the week, all of the bands will perform their program, and each group will receive a unique award for something their band demonstrated best.
Each band will work toward the following goal for the final performance:
- Writing lyrics and/or music for their own song.
- Performing a cover of any artist in a unique way. (e.g. all percussion or unique instrumental)
- Playing a cover of an artist from their choice of 50's, 60's, 70's, or 80's artist.
- Playing a cover of a current artist.
The week-long camp will consist of educational activities and workshops, lessons, rehearsal time, indoor/outdoor breaks, and a fun experience for all.

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. M-TH
Friday 9:00 a.m. through the final performance which begins at 5:00 p.m. at CSMA
Tuition: $275
Stay for the Day 8:00 - 6:00: Additional $40/week

- Instrument(s) (except drum set or keyboard/piano) and any cables or amps associated. If a student plays a string instrument, (s)he should bring that as well. (If a student does not own the accessories, you may indicate what they need in your application, and we may be able to provide one to use for the week.)
- Snacks
- Bag Lunch (or sign up for hot lunch through Lancer)
- Backpack or bag with an extra set of clothing, shoes that can get wet/dirty, a sweater/sweatshirt, and sunscreen
- Camp Paperwork (Emergency Form, Permissions, Allergy Action Plan)
